Global Bitcoin ATMs fall 28% in first half of 2026

The number of Bitcoin ATMs worldwide fell by 10,836, or 27.7%, in the first half of this year, Finbold reported. The total count dropped from 39,158 at the end of 2025 to 28,322 on June 30, 2026. The U.S. accounted for 96% of this decline, with 10,380 machines removed, though it remains the largest market with 71.5% of all active units. Elsewhere, Canada lost 57 ATMs and Europe lost 102. Australia saw the largest decrease outside of North America, with 228 machines removed.Leave the first comment
