HashKey Group joins DTCC tokenization working group

Hong Kong digital asset firm HashKey Group has joined the Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation’s digital asset tokenization working group as the first Asian digital asset company to do so, Crypto Briefing reported. The group includes more than 100 global financial institutions, including JPMorgan and Goldman Sachs, and is working to establish standards for the issuance, settlement and custody of tokenized real-world assets. DTCC completed its first tokenized transaction in a live operating environment in July and plans to launch a standardized tokenization service in October.
