Bitfinex hack-linked wallet moves $1B in BTC to new addresses

A wallet linked to the 2016 Bitfinex hack transferred 12,267 BTC, worth about $1.01 billion, to new addresses, according to Arkham data. The Bitcoin was moved to addresses whose current owners have not been identified, and there were no signs afterward of deposits to exchanges. The large-scale BTC transfer has raised concerns about potential selling pressure, but no actual sales have been confirmed.
