A U.S. court has ordered Ryan Salame to appear for a hearing despite Salame having withdrawn a request to vacate his guilty plea. The former co-CEO of FTX Digital Markets, a subsidiary of FTX, was recently sentenced to seven years and five months in prison. According to Cointelegraph, Salame had previously requested that his court appearance date be postponed to October 13, citing that he had been bitten by a dog while visiting an acquaintance's house and needed emergency surgery. In response, the court stated that he must appear on September 12 according to the conditions of his bail release.
