U.Today: U.S. SEC decides to appeal Ripple case ruling

The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has decided to appeal a court ruling relative to its lawsuit against Ripple, U.Today has reported, citing a court filing. In July of last year, the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York ruled that XRP tokens sold in the secondary market were not securities. According to CoinMarketCap, XRP is currently trading at $0.5601, down 6.80%.
