Plume Network partners with Mercado Bitcoin in RWA tokenization plan

Plume Network has partnered with Brazilian cryptocurrency exchange Mercado Bitcoin on a $40 million RWA tokenization plan. According to The Block, the two plan to tokenize asset-backed securities (ABS), consumer credit, corporate debt and receivables. Mercado Bitcoin said it will utilize Plume Network’s infrastructure and layer-1 blockchain to provide users with the opportunity to invest in tokenized assets in Brazil.
