North Korean hacker groups have stolen over $2 billion in cryptocurrency this year, an all-time high, CoinDesk reported, citing data from Elliptic.
The groups have recently expanded their tactics beyond targeting exchanges like Bybit to include phishing attacks against high-net-worth individuals. They were also found to be using services such as cross-chain swaps and multi-stage mixing to evade tracking.
