New tool helps Tornado Cash users prove funds are not tied to illicit activity

0xBow, the development team behind the blockchain privacy tool Privacy Pools, has launched a tool to help Tornado Cash users prove their funds are not linked to illicit activities, The Block reported. The tool, named Tornado Cash Proof of Association, cross-references a user's withdrawal history with Tornado Cash's deposit list to verify whether the user is a blacklisted illicit actor.
