Brazilian lawmaker proposes bill to freeze crypto of cybercrime suspects

Brazilian Federal Deputy Chrisóstomo de Moura has introduced a bill that would allow courts to freeze or seize the cryptocurrency assets of individuals suspected of cybercrimes, DL News reported. If the bill is passed, the Brazilian judiciary would gain regulatory authority over cryptocurrency exchanges and be empowered to issue orders to freeze certain wallets.
