Monad mainnet goes live with over 50% of MON supply locked until 2029

The Monad mainnet launched on Monday, with 50.6% of the locked MON supply scheduled to vest gradually through the end of 2029, The Block reported. In a related development, Magma staking has also gone live on the mainnet, allowing early users to stake MON and receive gMON. The gMON token is a liquid staking token that enables holders to continue earning rewards across various DeFi protocols.
