US CFTC recruiting CEOs for new crypto advisory committee

U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) Acting Chair Caroline D. Pham is recruiting CEOs for a new Innovation Committee to advise on regulations for prediction markets and cryptocurrencies, according to Eleanor Terrett. The goal is to have the committee operational by January, when the Senate is tentatively scheduled to vote on a crypto market structure bill. Acting Chair Pham is expected to request CEO recommendations from the industry by Dec. 8.
