Abu Dhabi's state oil firm to accept stablecoin payments in 3 countries

Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) Distribution will now support payments using the stablecoin AE Coin at 980 of its gas stations, convenience stores, and car washes across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and Egypt, Coindesk reported. AE Coin is the first dirham-pegged stablecoin to be approved by the Central Bank of the UAE.
