LayerZero CEO credits anti-bot measures for diminished ZRO token price decline

September 09, 2024, 6:44 AM
LayerZero Labs' CEO Bryan Pellegrino told Cointelegraph that the project’s ZRO token has outperformed similar tokens from ZKsync and Starknet due to effective anti-bot measures and a focus on rewarding dedicated users. Despite criticism for requiring a donation to claim the airdropped tokens, the ZRO price has decreased only 23% since its June 20 launch. In contrast, Starknet's STRK token has fallen over 91% amid declining user activity, and ZKsync's ZK token has dropped 67%, criticized for inadequate Sybil filtering.
