Near Protocol introduces alpha version of AI agent

Near Protocol has launched an alpha version of its cross-chain AI agent, NEAR.AI Assistant, Cointelegraph reported. The agent allows users to create and launch memecoins via NEAR's version of Pump.fun, a Solana-based memecoin generator. It can also connect any blockchain using any wallet and facilitate fiat swaps through market makers, potentially expanding Web2 shopping capabilities. Future plans include features enabling users to book flights and order food from Web2 sites.
