Movement co-founder accuses Scroll for 'predatory’ tokenomics

Rushi Manche, co-founder of the Ethereum layer-2 network Movement, criticized the Ethereum zkEVM scaling project Scroll (SCR) on X. Manche accused Scroll of exploiting its community through a “predatory” tokenomics model, alleging that the team sold secondary tokens before launch, forced internal token purchases among team members and allocated airdrop tokens to personal wallets for cash-outs. He further claimed that Scroll's practices have harmed the reputation of the layer-2 EVM ecosystem.
