China blocks soybean imports from three U.S. exporters and suspends lumber imports

China has suspended the import qualifications of three U.S. soybean exporters, including CHS Inc., Louis Dreyfus Company Grains Merchandising LLC and EGT, citing quality and safety concerns, according to Reuters. In addition, China has suspended all U.S. lumber imports starting March 4, according to a statement from the country’s customs department.
