A former captain in the Singaporean navy's diving unit stole 1.7 million USDT after breaking into a Chinese national's apartment and photographing the victim's crypto wallet seed phrase, Decrypt reported. The man used the stolen funds to purchase expensive watches, gamble, and pay off a home mortgage. He has pleaded guilty to the charges in court.
