Binance's 2018 BNB donation of $200K now worth $37M

A $200,000 donation in BNB made by the world's largest crypto exchange, Binance, to a Maltese charity in 2018 has since grown in value to $37 million, Cointelegraph reported. The funds, intended for the Malta Community Chest Fund Foundation (MCCF), a cancer treatment charity, have reportedly remained frozen after a final agreement between the two parties fell through. The deal collapsed when MCCF refused a 2021 request from Binance to verify patient information and share the results. While Binance stated in 2021 that it was discussing potential solutions with the foundation, no further updates have been provided.
