November 26, 2025, 6:28 PM
Democrats on the U.S. House Judiciary Committee, led by Ranking Member Jamie Raskin, have released a report detailing President Donald Trump's alleged involvement in cryptocurrency businesses, calling it an abuse of power for personal gain and the start of a new era of corruption. According to CoinDesk, the report alleges that President Trump and his family amassed hundreds of millions of dollars from crypto-related ventures during the first year of his term. It further contends that Trump's pro-crypto policies are designed to enrich his family and are based on pay-to-play deals and corrupt foreign interests. In response, White House spokesperson Karoline Leavitt issued a statement asserting that neither the president nor his family have been or will be involved in any conflicts of interest.
