Hong Kong futures BTC/ETH ETF sees 4.6x increase in daily trading volume

Brian Roberts, Head of Securities Product Development at the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, stated that since the approval of cryptocurrency futures ETFs in October 2022, three futures BTC and ETH ETFs have been listed on the exchange, according to the Hong Kong Economic Times. The daily average trading volume of these ETFs has surged from HK$8.9 million (approx. $1.15 million) last year to HK$413 million (approx. $53 million) in the first quarter of this year, marking a 4.6-fold increase. As of the end of March, the assets under management stood at HK$1.2 billion (approx. $154 million), with a compound annual growth rate of 255%.
