South Korean whales on Upbit sells $734M in XRP in one day

South Korean crypto exchange Upbit reported that XRP selling orders worth 1.06 trillion won ($734 million) from whales were processed on its platform between 23:00 UTC on Dec. 18 and 23:00 UTC on Dec. 19, according to Digital Asset. These whales are characterized by placing selling orders of more than 8 million won ($5,520), 0.03 BTC or 2,000 USDT each. These orders constituted 33% of the total XRP transactions on Upbit.
