U.S. Producer Prices rose 0.4% in January, above expectations

The U.S. Department of Labor reported that the Producer Price Index (PPI) increased by 0.4% in January compared to the previous month, exceeding the market forecast of a 0.3% rise. The PPI is reflected in the CPI with a delay.
