Stablecoin usage and Circle’s CCTP bridge volume hit record highs in May

Active stablecoin addresses surged to a record 33.1 million in May, according to Wu Blockchain citing Artemis data. Circle’s Cross-Chain Transfer Protocol (CCTP) also hit an all-time high with $7.7 billion in volume, marking an 83.3% increase from April. CCTP facilitates fast cross-chain USDC transfers.
