Crypto.com CEO says CRO to become platform token for Trump's Truth Social

Commenting on a planned business combination with Trump Media Group, Crypto.com CEO Kris Marszalek said that CRO will become the platform token for U.S. President Donald Trump's social media company, Truth Social, as part of a broad strategic partnership. He added that Trump Media Group CRO Strategy will permanently hold the acquired CRO and will adopt a strategy of increasing its holdings through staking. CoinNess previously reported that three companies—Trump Media & Technology Group, Crypto.com, and Yorkville Acquisition—plan to launch a business combination and a treasury firm, Trump Media Group CRO Strategy, for the purpose of a $6.42 billion investment in CRO.
