Arbitrum developer unit partners with Succinct on custom zkVM

Tandem, a separate business unit of Arbitrum (ARB) developer Offchain Labs, has partnered with Succinct (PROVE) to develop a custom zero-knowledge virtual machine (zkVM) for the Arbitrum ecosystem, Blockworks reported. The collaboration is limited to technical cooperation, and it has not been disclosed whether a token swap is included. Under the agreement, Tandem will lead ecosystem entry and provide financial support, while Succinct will spearhead the development of the proving infrastructure and network.
