US Bureau of Labor Statistics to halt data releases during shutdown

The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics announced it will suspend the release of economic data during a government shutdown. The release of U.S. non-farm payrolls and unemployment rate data for September is scheduled for Oct. 3.
