Tether partner Antalpha buys $134M in XAUT via subsidiary

Antalpha (Nasdaq: ANTA), a partner of Tether, announced on Oct. 14 that its subsidiary Aurelion (Nasdaq: AURE) has purchased $134 million worth of Tether Gold (XAUT). XAUT is a stablecoin issued by Tether that is pegged to the price of gold.
Following the acquisition, Aurelion, formerly known as Prestige Wealth, has become the first Nasdaq-listed company to hold XAUT as a strategic treasury asset. The purchase follows a previously announced partnership between Antalpha and Tether to raise $200 million and establish a tokenized gold treasury.
