Bybit to suspend new user sign-ups in Japan from Oct. 31

Bybit will suspend new user sign-ups in Japan starting Oct. 31 to comply with new regulations from the country's Financial Services Agency (FSA), Cointelegraph reported. Trading services for existing users in Japan will not be affected. Bybit plans to share further details as it continues discussions with Japanese regulatory authorities. The FSA had previously proposed regulating cryptocurrencies under laws applicable to securities and financial investment products, rather than the existing Payment Services Act.
