Aerodrome and Velodrome to merge, launch new token

Dromos Labs, the developer of the OP Mainnet-based decentralized exchanges Velodrome (VELODROME) and Aerodrome (AERO), is merging the two platforms, The Defiant reported. The combined entity will be renamed Aero. Following the merger, a new native token will be launched and swapped with the existing tokens. Holders of AERO will receive 94.5% of the new token supply, while VELODROME holders will receive the remaining 5.5%.
