SEC to launch crypto innovation exemption in January

U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) Chairman Paul Atkins announced that the innovation exemption for cryptocurrency firms will take effect in January, Tree News reported, citing Bloomberg. The SEC previously announced in September that it planned to implement the system, which is designed to ease regulations and allow companies to launch new products and services more quickly, by the end of this year.
