Celestia-based shared sequencer Astria to cease operations

Astria, a shared sequencer network built on Celestia, has announced it is ceasing operations, The Block reported. The project did not disclose a reason for the shutdown. The move follows the project's mainnet launch last year and subsequent halts in product development and the operation of its Celestia validator node earlier this year. Astria also did not provide detailed reasons for those earlier cessations.
