Morgan Stanley files for spot Ethereum ETF, CoinDesk reports

Morgan Stanley has filed an S-1 application with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission to create an Ethereum Trust, following previous filings for Bitcoin and Solana (SOL) ETFs, CoinDesk reported. The establishment of a trust is generally considered equivalent to an ETF application. According to the report, the move reflects a broader trend of traditional financial institutions offering digital asset products through familiar and regulated channels.
