Trump Media files Form S-3 with U.S. SEC over $2.3B raise for Bitcoin treasury

Trump Media and Technology Group Corp., the parent company of Truth Social, announced on June 5 that it has filed a registration statement on Form S-3 with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). According to a GlobeNewswire press release, the filing is tied to recent debt and equity subscription agreements with around 50 investors, which brought in roughly $2.3 billion. The company plans to use the capital to establish a Bitcoin treasury and fund other general business activities.
