Celestia acquires $62.5M in TIA from Polychain, reassigns to new investors

The Celestia Foundation announced on X that it has purchased 43.45 million TIA tokens from Polychain Capital for $62.5 million. To settle the transaction, Polychain will undelegate all staked TIA holdings. The Foundation is reallocating the tokens to new investors under a rolling unlock schedule, starting August 16 and ending November 14, to maintain a neutral financial impact.
