El Salvador adds 8 BTC to national treasury in past week

The government of El Salvador has purchased approximately eight BTC over the past seven days, according to the El Salvador Bitcoin Office. This brings the country's total holdings to 6,318.18 BTC, valued at around $732 million. El Salvador, the first nation to adopt Bitcoin as legal tender, has been buying one BTC daily since Nov. 18, 2022.
