BitGo obtains crypto business license in Germany

Global digital asset custodian BitGo has obtained a license for its crypto business from Germany's Federal Financial Supervisory Authority (BaFin), CoinDesk reported. The license allows BitGo's European entity to offer over-the-counter (OTC) and electronic trading services for thousands of cryptocurrencies and stablecoins. This follows the company's acquisition of a license under Europe's Markets in Crypto-Assets (MiCA) regulation in May.
