US senator calls for probe into Trump family's overseas crypto deals

U.S. Senator Elizabeth Warren, a noted cryptocurrency critic, has called for an investigation into the Trump family's overseas cryptocurrency transactions, Walter Bloomberg reported. Warren, along with another Democratic lawmaker, asked the acting inspectors general of the Commerce and State Departments to investigate whether Trump administration officials broke ethics rules in two deals, at least one worth billions of dollars, involving the United Arab Emirates.
