Polkadot proposes governance vote to issue native pUSD stablecoin

Polkadot (DOT) has put forward a governance proposal to issue a native stablecoin, pUSD. Currently, USDT and USDC are the dominant stablecoins within the Polkadot ecosystem, and a previous attempt to introduce the Honzon protocol-based stablecoin aUSD was unsuccessful. The proposed pUSD would be collateralized by DOT and aims to reduce or replace the ecosystem's reliance on USDT and USDC.
