Vitalik Buterin questions the practicality of the metaverse

In a recent post on Warpcast, Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin posed the question, "What is the metaverse doing?" He clarified that his inquiry was genuine and not meant as criticism. He shared how generative AI has been aiding him in coding, drawing and learning. Buterin also noted the benefits of cryptocurrency in facilitating international payments, accessing more open social networks and obtaining supplementary news through Polymarket, a decentralized prediction market platform.
