Ethereum researcher proposes 'Lean' network for quantum era

Ethereum Foundation researcher Justin Drake has proposed "Lean Ethereum" a redesign aimed at making Ethereum quantum-resistant, faster and technically simpler. According to Cointelegraph, the plan includes using zero-knowledge virtual machines to secure the execution layer, data availability sampling to reduce storage load and adopting a RISC-V framework to simplify and secure the consensus layer.
