YouTuber MrBeast files trademark for crypto exchange and payment services

Popular YouTube creator MrBeast, who has 446 million subscribers, has filed a trademark application for "MrBeast Financial" covering cryptocurrency exchange and payment services, Decrypt reported. The application includes a wide range of potential offerings, such as a crypto exchange, payment processing, investment banking, insurance, financial education, micro-lending, and asset exchange services based on a decentralized exchange (DEX). However, launching these services would require multiple regulatory steps, including registration with the U.S. Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (FinCEN), state-level money transmitter licenses, and approvals from the SEC and CFTC. To date, no such documents have been filed. The application was submitted through MrBeast's corporate entity, Beast Holdings, and has not yet been assigned to an examiner.
