India plans to launch rupee-linked digital asset ARC next year

India plans to launch a rupee-linked digital asset called ARC early next year, Solid Intel reported. The asset will be developed by Polygon and fintech startup Anq and is being designed to comply with regulations from the Reserve Bank of India (RBI). Its issuance and swap functions will be operated on a limited basis.
