BTC sees 8 straight days of institutional net buying

Institutional buying indicators for Bitcoin (BTC) have turned bullish since the start of 2026, Cointelegraph reported, citing data from Capriole Investments. Institutions have been net buyers for the last eight consecutive trading days. On Monday alone, institutional purchases were approximately 76% greater than the amount of new BTC mined. Capriole founder Charles Edwards commented that institutions have returned as major buyers of BTC. He explained that in the past, the price of BTC has risen by an average of 109% following such a shift in institutional buying indicators.
