SEC warns ETF issuers against high-leverage products

The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has sent a letter to ETF issuers urging them to reconsider launching high-leverage exchange-traded funds, Decrypt reported. The warning includes cryptocurrency ETFs. The SEC added that issuers must also consider ways for investors exposed to such products to be fully aware of the risks involved.
