Mango Markets exploiter charged with possession of child porn in the U.S.

Avraham Eisenberg, previously convicted for a $110 million fraud and market manipulation in connection with the Mango Markets cryptocurrency heist, has been charged with possessing child pornography in the U.S., according to Cointelegraph, which cited a court filing made public on April 26. A separate filing dated August 25 revealed that images of prepubescent minors under the age of 12 were discovered during a preliminary examination of Eisenberg's laptop and cell phones related to the fraud case. Eisenberg, who was convicted by a federal jury in New York on April 18, is scheduled to be sentenced on July 29.
