25M IO tokens allocated for airdrops, says io.net CMO

Garrison Y., the Chief Marketing Officer of the Solana-based decentralized physical infrastructure network (DePIN) project io.net, also known as @0xHushky, announced via a Telegram channel the allocation of 25 million IO tokens in an airdrop. The distribution includes 7.5 million tokens each for workers from March and April, for May workers and for community members including those on Galxe, Discord, as well as key opinion leaders (KOLs) and content creators. An additional 2.5 million tokens are reserved for the Aethir swap. On April 16, io.net revealed the tokenomics for IO, allocating 50% of the total supply of 800 million tokens to the community. More recently, io.net founder Ahmad Shadid revealed a delay in the launch of their project's token due to technical issues.
