OKX compensates hacked users and will add Google Authenticator for security: Wu Blockchain

Two OKX users who reported their accounts being hacked have been fully compensated by the cryptocurrency exchange, Wu Blockchain reported on X. The suspected cause of the security breach was the hijacking of the users' SMS and email. In response to these incidents, OKX has decided to implement mandatory Google Authenticator in the future to prevent similar occurrences. The exchange had initially announced the user reports of stolen assets on June 10.
