Governments shift from auctions to trading platforms for selling seized Bitcoin

German authorities recently moved $468 million worth of Bitcoin, sending some to cryptocurrency exchanges like Coinbase and Kraken. According to an X post by Bitcoin.com which cited data from Arkham, governments are shifting from auctioning seized crypto to dealing directly with established platforms. Germany still holds 47,179 BTC ($3 billion), while the UK has 61,245 BTC ($3.9 billion). The U.S. government possesses 217,486 BTC ($13.9 billion).
