BitForex resumes withdrawals

BitForex, a Singapore-based cryptocurrency exchange whose services had been suspended for the past five months, has resumed withdrawals, CoinDesk reported. BitForex went offline last February after stealing $57 million worth of user deposits from hot wallets. The exchange team was detained and investigated by Chinese police in late February. According to an X post published by BitForex, users who have completed KYC can use the withdrawal service. The exchange plans to suspend all operations after completing the return of user funds.
