WEMIX announces discontinuation of its burn programs

In a recent blog post, blockchain gaming platform WEMIX announced that it will be discontinuing its burn programs to better control supply and circulation and to promote sustainable growth within its ecosystem. Starting Aug. 2, the Auto Burn program will end, and the Mass Burn and Batch Burn programs will conclude in Q3 2024. Following thorough deliberation, the WEMIX team has decided that ending these programs aligns with the collective interests of its participants. The team also expressed its commitment to a deflationary token economy with the introduction of the WEMIX Pay Buy-Back. By dedicating at least 4-5% of WEMIX Pay revenues to this Buy-Back program, the platform aims to continue pursuing its goal of a deflationary economy.
